Pedigree & Conformation Clinic to be Held at Gulfstream Park
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is hosting a Pedigree & Conformation clinic March 1st at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The day long clinic is strategically positioned the day after Fasig Tipton’s Florida breeze how and the day before the sale begins. Features include conformation presentations from Hagyard Equine, rail side analysis of working horses by Equine Analysis, a backside tour and older horse inspection at Todd Pletcher’s barn with Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, as well as a leading trainer’s viewpoint, pedigree theories, auction procedures from Fasig Tipton, and a live conformation workshop with two year olds in training. Speakers and classroom lectures will include renowned trainers, veterinarians, owners, agents, etc.
“We’re excited for the first clinic of the year. Focusing on Pedigree & Conformation is a topic that everyone can learn about and hear different viewpoints from professionals at each stage of a horse’s life,” said Aly Strainer, TOBA Director of Membership & Marketing. “The clinic is open to everyone. It attracts a wide range of people from fans, prospective breeders seeking a foundation of education to longtime owners and even outside disciplines who want to expand on the education they have acquired from their own experience.”
The 2016 schedule and registration are available at www.toba.org. TOBA members receive a discounted rate for each clinic and non-members can join TOBA today to take advantage of the discount.
