BREEDING CLINIC

May 30-31 Lexington, Kentucky

Attendees will learn about a variety of topics pertaining to the breeding side of the Thoroughbred industry from experts in the field at four central Kentucky farms and a veterinary clinic.

The clinic will include tours of Airdrie Stud, Shamrock Glen Farm, Resolute Racing, Magdalena Farm and Hagyard Equine Medical Institute.  Topics at the Breeding Clinic include matings and stallion conformation, mare management, foal care, broodmare evaluation and yearling prep for sales. Speakers and additional topics will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

On March 22 at Fair Grounds, a local hero delivered a win for the home team. Six-year-old gelding Touchuponastar, bred by Keith and Ginger Myers’ Coteau Grove Farms, outclassed rivals including 2024 champion three-year-old male Sierra Leone to capture the New Orleans Classic Stakes (G2).
