Ownership Seminar at Gulfstream Park

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is hosting an Ownership Seminar Saturday, December 2 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla. The day-long seminar is being held on opening day of Gulfstream Park’s Championship Meet and the day of the 2017 Claiming Crown.  Topics covered include resources for new owners, syndicates and partnerships, claiming, trainer relationships and viewpoints, state bred programs and development funds, on-site track relations, sales processes, veterinary topics, networking and a guest handicapper.

“We welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about Thoroughbred ownership to attend our seminar. It’s an exciting time to get involved and we want people to know that even if owning or breeding is not in your background, we are here to be a resource and help educate you through the process,” said Meredith Downey, TOBA director of marketing and education. “It’s an opportunity to network with industry professionals and enjoy an afternoon of racing from the President’s Suite.”

TOBA members receive a discounted rate for each clinic and non-members can join TOBA today to take advantage of the discount. All meals, seating and TOBA informational gift bag are included with registration. Register online at toba.org or email Meredith Downey at mdowney@toba.org.
