LEXINGTON, Ky. / SHELBYVILLE, In. – The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is hosting an Ownership Seminar next Saturday, July 16th at Indiana Grand in Shelbyville, Indiana. The day long seminar is strategically positioned in conjunction with the Indiana Derby (G2) and the Indiana Oaks (G2).

Features include resources for new owners, networking, trainer relationships and viewpoints, state bred programs and development funds, research information sources, bloodstock acquisition, sales, claiming, veterinary issues and sports medicine, legalities and partnerships, a guest handicapper, as well as what to think about when your horse is no longer competitive.

“Being able to host an event like this in concurrence with Indiana’s biggest day of racing is an honor. We’re excited to spend a day speaking with industry professionals and an evening of racing. Indiana Grand and ITOBA have been a pleasure to work with.” said Aly Strainer, TOBA Director of Membership & Marketing. “We will be in the Founder’s Suite all day and invite everyone to attend. We are fortunate that we don’t have to cap attendance. Although registration in advanced is encouraged, walk ins are welcome.” All materials, meals and seating is included.

The 2016 schedule and registration are available at www.tobamain.kinsta.cloud. TOBA members receive a discounted rate for each clinic and non-members can join TOBA today to take advantage of the discount.
