Colton Thacker, DVM Joins Pedigree & Conformation Clinic Speaker Agenda at Fasig-Tipton October 23

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Colton Thacker to the list of speakers presenting at the Pedigree & Conformation Clinic on Monday, October 23 at Fasig-Tipton in Lexington, Kentucky. The day long clinic is strategically positioned the first day of Fasig Tipton’s Kentucky October Yearlings sale.
Dr. Thacker attended Utah State University and graduated from Washington State School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Upon graduation from veterinary school, he completed an ambulatory internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital.
Following his internship, Dr. Thacker underwent a one-year imaging fellowship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital where he developed additional skills, primarily ultrasonography and radiographic interpretation. His areas of interest include lameness, diagnostic imaging and sales work.
In 2019, Dr. Thacker was chosen among the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association’s Veterinarians of the Year.
The TOBA Pedigree & Conformation Clinic is aimed towards all levels of experience – from beginners to knowledgeable owners looking to continue their education. The clinic is open to the general public, with a special discount for TOBA members. Meals, educational materials, and a TOBA gift bag are included in registration.
