Ownership Seminar at Churchill Downs

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is hosting an Ownership Seminar May 5th at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. The day long seminar is strategically positioned on “Thurby” the day before the Kentucky Oaks (G1). Features include on and off track relationships, research information sources, handicapping, tax benefits and legalities, bloodstock and sales, insurance, jockeys, state to state industry differences, and what to think about when your horse is no longer competitive.

“We’re excited for the first ownership seminar of the year. Kentucky Derby week is the best time of the year and Churchill Downs is an electric atmosphere,” said Aly Strainer, TOBA Director of Membership & Marketing. “Churchill has been great to work with and together we are excited to share insights on the sport to a sold out crowd, including a large number of partners in the Churchill Downs Racing Club.”

The 2016 schedule and registration are available at www.toba.org. TOBA members receive a discounted rate for each clinic and non-members can join TOBA today to take advantage of the discount.
